Church Health Assessment
 

Maintaining good health requires regular checkups to ensure proper long-term health and vitality. We believe that the same level of assessment can greatly benefit the health of a church. Our approach to church health is CARE:

This comprehensive Church Health Assessment uses our team’s vast experience in analytics and organizational effectiveness to collect and assess all significant data points related to the church’s strategic, financial, and spiritual health. After an initial kick-off meeting with leadership, we begin to gather information through interviews and customized surveys to determine the church’s health and effectiveness in a wide array of areas, including but not limited to:
 

• Unity and nature of relationships within the church.

• Worship and creative arts ministries

• Evangelism and discipleship

• Family ministries

• Organizational processes and function

• Communications

• Clarity of mission and vision

• Leadership structure and effectiveness

• Community awareness and impact
   

Upon collecting all relevant and necessary data, our findings and assessment are developed into a comprehensive report which presents a concise summary of key observations, areas of strength, opportunities for growth or change, and recommendations for addressing areas of concern. All findings are discussed and reviewed with church leadership to develop a church health plan to maintain peak vitality. Bylaws Advisory
 

Church Bylaws are perhaps the most important governing document for a church or ministry non-profit. They are the legal framework for how the church operates as an organization. Bylaws contain foundational information such as the mission statement, fundamental beliefs, leadership structure, and membership criteria. If done properly and in compliance with state and federal, they also serve as the greatest legally protection for the church, its assets, and its people.
 

Our team has been helping hundreds of churches over the past decade formulate and update their church bylaws on an ongoing basis. This work is how Daniel started consulting with churches and church leaders.
 

Pastors and boards members should not have to fear for the future of their local church because of unclear internal structure or external societal agendas. Strategic Envisioning & Planning

Our strategic envisioning and planning takes a highly collaborative approach to the church consulting practice. Every church is unique, and we are a partner that understands and celebrates the opportunity to craft the right mission and ministry strategy. A thriving church is one whose people have a shared vision and move together in one direction.
 

This proven planning process consists of three main phases:
 

Phase One – Envisioning
 

• During this phase, we want to get your whole team on board. We understand that change can be daunting, but it is much more rewarding when the team stacks hands on the direction God provides during this process.
   

• We also make sure that all leaders have the skills and resources necessary to be successful in their roles, no matter the position or ministry. We are happy to offer training or coaching for any current or developing leaders in your church.
   

Phase Two – Planning
 

• This is where we get to really dive into the DNA of your church or ministry. After thorough research and analysis of the church and local community, we will develop a strategic plan to meet the needs of the church, its members, and the community. This planning may include:
   

  • Mission and Vision Statements: Developing or refining the rallying point for the leaders and members of the church.
     

  • Core Values: Establishing biblical and bold values that become fundamental characteristics of your church DNA.
     

  • “In-reach” Ministry Strategy: Outlining the ministries of the church to meet the needs of its members (family, children, youth, worship arts, and many more).
     

  • Outreach Ministry Strategy: Creating a plan to meet community needs and reaching the lost for Christ.
     

  • Discipleship: Formulating a process to turn churchgoers in disciples on fire for Christ and His mission through your church.
     

  • Goal setting and Planning: Ensuring lasting impact and health by setting goals and strategies that keep church activities and the mission aligned.
     

  • Financial Planning: Designing budget, stewardship, and accountability principles to guide church leadership in maintaining and growing the long-term vision.
     

Phase Three – Implementing
 

• The final phase is to execute on the extensive envisioning and planning that we perform with your church leadership. From several months to a year, we will continue to walk alongside you to ensure success in this new chapter of your church.
   

• If any concerns arise, we are there to advise leadership on how to resolve them wisely and strategically before they become sustained problems. If any adjustments have to be made, we are also there to continue partnering with you to fine tune your plans and processes.

Leadership and Team Coaching
 

Leadership is hard enough, let alone having to lead the people that God has entrusted to you. Pastors, board members, and other leaders in the Church are often faced with difficult decisions when having to balance the spiritual responsibility of the Church with its organizational obligations. We are here to help fill the gaps and provide over a decade’s worth of insights, experience, and coaching when it comes to making organizational and financial decisions for your local or multi-site church. 
 

We also provide church teams with group coaching and workshop sessions. No one person can do the work of the ministry alone; we all need each other in carrying out the Great Commission and broaden the borders of the Kingdom in our communities. Whether helping facilitate a leadership transition at your local church or improving your church culture and morale, we have several tools that not only equip teams to carry out their organization’s mission but also provide a fun and engaging time where people can more purposefully connect with each other.
